Dr. Chris W. Hornick is President, Founder, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team of CWH Management Solutions. He has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas Christian University and has a strong background in statistical analysis, research, and practical applications. He has worked professionally in the area of Industrial/ Organizational Psychology with an emphasis in personnel research and selection for over 20 years and is a leading national authority on testing, selection, and promotion for public safety positions. He has extensive experience conducting job analyses and statistical validation studies, assessment centers, physical ability tests, and entry level and promotional tests for clients throughout the country.
Dr. Hornick has implemented some of the most innovative and influential changes in testing processes that the industry has seen in the past 50 years. He is impassioned about preparing organizations for the demands of a rapidly changing economic and technological marketplace. His primary emphasis is to help implement positive changes in client organizations and to enable them to create highly satisfying and productive work environments and relationships.
As an expert witness for the U. S. Department of Justice in a landmark 2001 case alleging discrimination in testing, Dr. Hornick has been a strong voice for better testing methods that will hire the best qualified candidates, measure the most important characteristics and skills, and reduce disparate impact in the selection process.
