Ms. Erin Hardin joined CWH in 2003. She is experienced in both entry-level and promotional project work for Public Safety. She is also involved in CWH efforts on diversity and recruitment. Her expertise is in selection, specifically in test development and analysis. Ms. Hardin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Willamette University in 1994 and her Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University in 2003.
Ms. Hardin was instrumental in developing CWH’s off-the-shelf promotional written tests for both Fire and Law Enforcement. She is the main contact for departments wishing to use the off-the-shelf tests. In addition, her experience as a consultant with CWH includes the following projects:
Erin has developed and administered promotional written tests and assessment centers for the ranks of Fire Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief for clients including; Albuquerque Fire Department (NM), Aurora Fire Department (CO), Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services (GA), New Haven Fire Department (CT), North Metro Fire Rescue District (CO), San Diego Fire Department (CA), and South Metro Fire Rescue (CO). She also developed and administered a Fire Chief selection process for the Mountain View Fire Protection District (CO) in 2007, including candidate recruitment, and a Training Chief selection process for the Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department (CO) in 2006. In Law Enforcement, Erin has developed and administered promotional written tests and assessment centers for the ranks of Police Sergeant and Lieutenant for Aurora Police Department (CO), Nashville Police Department (TN), and Northglenn Police Department (CO).
