Dr. Ford is our Director of Consulting Services and has primary responsibility for our entry level testing processes and statistical validation projects. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Weber State University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield.
Dr. Ford has a strong background in statistical analysis and has presented his research at both national and international professional conferences on topics including criterion development for validation studies, multisource (360-degree) performance appraisal, rater mental models, leadership, scale development and validation, and organizational politics.
As a consultant with CWH, some of his recent experience includes, Project Manager for New Haven Fire Department for Entry-level position: written test, oral board, and physical ability test (2007), Project manager and lead consultant for Selection Solutions entry-level firefighter written test transportability study for Austin, TX (2005-2006) and for entry-level oral structured interview process for Prince George’s County, MD (2005). Dr. Ford has been responsible for Designing and managing protocols for the development and validation of the Next Generation of our Selection Solutions Fire Service test and Law Enforcement test (2005-2006). This includes managing clients: Denver, CO; Tuscaloosa, AL; Montgomery County, MD; Calgary, AL, Canada; Cobb County, GA; and others.
